Jack D. Roland, CPA, CFP®

Professional Background
Mr. Roland has an extensive background in financial management, including experience in the areas of accounting, auditing, tax planning and preparation, and investment management. He has more than 24 years experience in public accounting and 12 years in industry.

Mr. Roland started his career right out of college with a large international accounting firm, where he received extensive auditing experience. He also spent 9 years in the controller’s department of American General Corporation, a large Houston based insurance and financial services holding company. While at American General, he was responsible for the group’s consolidated financial statements, the consolidated federal income tax return, and the financial portion of the company’s filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Mr. Roland also spent 3 years as vice president and treasurer of a small insurance company where he was responsible for the financial management of the company as well as its investment portfolio.

Mr. Roland started his own CPA firm in 1983. During the time since then, he has gained extensive experience in individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and estate income tax planning and preparation. His accounting clients include retail, manufacturing, insurance agency, municipal, and nonprofit organizations. He has extensive audit experience with nonprofit organizations, small businesses, and governmental entities.

Mr. Roland is also a Certified Financial Plannerä practitioner and is general securities licensed and life insurance licensed. He consults with individuals regarding wealth management, retirement planning, estate planning, college funding, and investment management.

Education and Professional Associations
Mr. Roland received his BS degree in Accounting from Abilene Christian University in 1967 and his CPA from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy in 1970. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas and Houston Society of CPAs.

Robert D. Fry, CPA

Professional Background
Robert Fry began his career in public accounting almost thirty years ago after receiving his Master in Public Accounting (Taxation) from the University of Texas at Austin. Since that time, he has focused his accounting practice almost exclusively on tax issues affecting small companies and individual income tax preparation and consulting.

In addition to his public accounting experience, Robert has also served as Treasurer and Tax Manager for several privately owned companies. He has sharpened his skills along the way by teaching a course on oil & gas investments at Rice University’s continuing education program as well as serving as an adjunct instructor for tax and accounting courses at North Harris County’s college in the Woodlands.

Robert has made his home in Kingwood since 1985 and is married with three children. He is active in church and school activities and also served as a director for the Kingwood Place South water district prior to its annexation by the city of Houston. He also received a commission as a second lieutenant in the United States Army.

Randy T. Warren, CPA/CFF, CVA (Retired)

Professional Background
Mr. Warren has been actively involved in the business and CPA communities for over 25 years. He has worked extensively in the fields of auditing, taxation and forensic accounting services.

Mr. Warren has vast experience in the financial industries. He has served both as an internal and external bank auditor, loan officer and Board of Directors member. As a result he has reviewed hundreds of credit files for the purposes of extension and classification of credit and was responsible for the oversight of bank operations, loan activities and management decisions.

Mr. Warren has managed audit engagements ranging from non-profit, municipalities and governmental organizations to retail and wholesale entities. His consulting and tax practice to legal and medical professionals has enabled him to develop planning skills particularly important to high net worth clients.

Mr. Warren is also well versed in the aviation community as he has previously managed an Air Charter Company in Houston, Texas and also served as its Director of Operations. He has served as an FAA checkairman on corporate jet aircraft and has many years of experience working with the Federal Aviation Administration. He is an active Air Transport rated pilot.

Education and Professional Affiliations
Mr. Warren received his BA degree in Accounting from the Texas Tech University in 1974 and his Certificate of Public Accountancy from the State of Texas in 1977. He was granted the Certified Valuation Analyst designation by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts in 2004. He also holds the Certified in Financial Forensics credential granted by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Mr. Warren is a member of the AICPA, Texas and Houston Society of CPAs, Forensic and Valuation Services section of the AICPA and the Houston Society Litigation Support Committee.

Mr. Warren has been recognized as a qualified expert witness and has provided expert testimony in cases in Houston, Dallas, Lubbock and Amarillo, Texas, Memphis, Tenn and Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He has testified in both State and Federal courts as well as in Federal Bankruptcy Court. His previous areas of merger and acquisition/business valuation experience include:
